Cross-Campus Recruiting
Business Objective:
Produce leading local, state and national public and nonprofit sector professionals prepared for leadership roles and committed to diversity, equity and justice.
Marketing Strategy:
Generate awareness of Glenn College academic programs among students enrolled at The Ohio State University in fulfillment of the university’s mission “Education for Citizenship”. Communicate value of degrees and minors as complementary to all students who may encounter government policy and administration during their career. Serve university strategic enrollment goals by supporting students in their search for learning opportunities that align with their values.
Tactics and Operation:
Collaborate with student services advisors and recruiters to generate audience segments of students most likely to express interest.
Develop messaging that aligns with each segment’s priorities.
Direct creation of assets including email campaign, cross-campus signage, advertisements and event invitations.
Execute and measure campaign results.
Results:
Spring 2023: 27 majors, 54 minors (Total 75 students)
Fall 2022: 23 majors, 28 minors (Total 51 new students)
Spring 2022: 19 majors, 21 minor (Total 40 new students)
